Barbara Hogan, a proud graduate of Bryant & Stratton with a degree in Healthcare Administration, is a Community Health Foundation Leadership Fellow with extensive experience in healthcare administration and community development. She is the President of Alpha & Omega Health Network, LLC, and a dedicated CarMax Associate, serving as the CarMax Foundation Store Champion in Charlotte. Originally from Buffalo, New York, Barbara built a career focused on addressing health disparities through community capacity building. After relocating to Hampton, Virginia, she became Clinic Director for a Free Clinic and was appointed to several local leadership roles, including Vice Chair of the Hampton Economic Development Purchasing & Procurement Oversight Committee, Commissioner of Communications for the City of Hampton Neighborhood Commission, and an active member of Hampton’s Downtown Exchange Club.

In addition to her professional achievements, Barbara holds multiple certifications, including North Carolina Notary (Traditional & eNotary), Community Health Worker/NC-AHEC, and Licensed NC DMV Sales Representative. She is also CPR Certified. A committed member of the Charlotte NAACP, Barbara actively serves on its Board Governance, contributing her leadership to this essential cause. Beyond her career, Barbara finds joy in reading, volunteering, decorating, and, most importantly, spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is the proud mother of Tanisha and Dezi Jr.
