H.E.A.L. Portfolio
Showcasing Growth, Leadership, and Achievement
The KKEA Portfolio Program is a dynamic platform for students in grades 6-12 to showcase their academic and personal growth. Through this program, students are encouraged to reflect on their experiences, demonstrate key skills, and take ownership of their learning journey. The portfolio empowers students to highlight their achievements across diverse formats—whether digital, blog, vlog, presentation, or print—ensuring they can present their work in a way that best suits their strengths and creativity. What Students Will Do
Each year, students will complete at least two assignments for each of the four components of KKEA’s H.E.A.L. framework. These components serve as the foundation for developing well-rounded individuals:- Holistic Health: Students focus on self-awareness, self-reliance, and self-discipline, with projects that may include mindfulness exercises, health and wellness plans, or reflections on personal growth and emotional well-being.
- Economic Engagement: Assignments emphasize financial literacy and real-world economics. Students might develop budgets, simulate real-life financial decisions, or complete entrepreneurial projects that teach essential economic principles.
- Academic Achievement: Work submitted under this component reflects a student's academic strengths and progress across core subjects. Projects may range from research papers to problem-solving exercises, all demonstrating mastery of subject material.
- Leadership: Students showcase their leadership skills through communication and collaboration. This could include leading group projects, participating in community initiatives, or documenting how they've worked with peers to achieve common goals.
